The Popular Group acquired the Wartsila-Commissioned plant in 2017. The plant was then restored completely and overhauled to current efficiency standards. The engines and its auxiliary units have been meticulously worked upon to match the latest standards of Coal, Solar & Wind Power Plant and a new power generation line has also been added to optimize the overall output.
